The annual wage cost per region to all SMEs in the Northwest by days lost due to sickness absence is £132.8 million. Also, we know that healthy workers are more motivated to stay in work, return to work after sickness more quickly and are at lower risk of long-term illness.
This fully funded offer, created as part of the Government’s plan to help people with health conditions back to work, gives employees access to a work and health coach, who will offer individualised support and access to services to address individuals’ physical, psychological and social needs.
This webinar will cover information and local data demonstrating the impact of staff absence; an outline of the WorkWell service offer and what it includes; an opportunity to discuss how businesses/ employers can utilise the offer; information on how to access/ refer into the service; access to resources and materials to share the service offer with employees.
